My SuperCrawl 2016 Weekend

I took my Road Trip Series on a little road trip ... to Hamilton, ON for SuperCrawl 2016!

If you've never been to SuperCrawl, it's a little hard to describe ... part music festival / part art exhibition, SuperCrawl is one MASSIVE celebration in core of The Hammer! 150,000 people jam James Street North over the course of the weekend and I was ecstatic to be a wee little part of it!

It was very exciting to see all of my paintings looking quite distinguished at the back of Julia Veenstra's Studio on James North. Even more exciting was the warm reception of my work; the people of Hamilton really dug my camper and ice cream shop paintings! It was amazing to meet so many great people ... I even sold a bunch of my pieces!!

A great big THANKS to Julia for giving me the honour of being her guest artist. It was a wonderful way to spend the weekend ... and a great beginning.
